Depart from Milford Sound Airport and fly high above the famed Milford Track, over Arthur Valley and Lake Ada to circle the unbelievable Sutherland Falls: once believed to be the highest waterfall in New Zealand and currently among the tallest in the world. Make a landing in this majestic setting and breathe in the refreshing mountain air and sounds of rushing waterfalls before heading back to base.

Pre-flight orientation & safety briefing
You complete passenger information form if required. Then relax and enjoy the stunning view while your pilot readies the aircraft. Before boarding the helicopter, you undergo your safety briefing.

Pre-takeoff
Time to get in the heli! Your pilot and ground crew ensure that you are comfortable, buckled in with your headset on and ready to go.

Lift-off
The helicopter takes off and you’re airborne. Fly over the Milford Track, Arthur Valley and Lake Ada en route to Sutherland Falls.

Circle the falls
Circle the mighty Sutherland Falls and see if you can get a shot of all three tiers in one photo.

Remote landing
Touch down and wait for your pilot to carefully open the helicopter door. Step out into incredible Fiordland wilderness, immersed in stunning West Coast forest and mountain views.
