Depart from Milford Sound Airport and fly along the rugged coastline of the Tasman Sea to Martins Bay, a completely uninhabited area, connected to civilisation only by the Hollyford Track. Land and tramp part of the Hollyford Track, a lesser known walk compared to Milford and Routeburn, but just as glorious! Hop back in the helicopter when it returns at your agreed-upon time and fly back to the airport.

Pre-flight orientation & safety briefing
You complete information form if required. Then relax and enjoy the stunning view while your pilot readies the aircraft. Before boarding the helicopter, you undergo your safety briefing.

Pre-takeoff
Time to get in the heli! Your pilot and ground crew ensure that you are comfortable, buckled in with your headset on and ready to go.

Lift-off
The helicopter takes off and you’re airborne. Take in the sights of Fiordland National Park as you fly to Martins Bay.

Remote landing
Your pilot lands the helicopter at Martins Bay and leaves you to your tramp on the Hollyford Track. They will return to pick you up at the time you both agreed on.

Hollyford Track
Walk the Hollyford Track for as long or as little as you like. We recommend bringing a packed lunch to enjoy as a picnic during your walk. Return to Martins Bay when it’s time for your pilot to pick you up again.

Back to base
After loading back into the helicopter, your pilot takes you back to base.
