Martins Bay, on the coast of the Tasman Sea.
Discover the wild West Coast with this flight + hiking experience.
Depart from Te Anau on a bus and enjoy the scenic drive into Milford Sound. You will then enjoy a helicopter flight along Milford Sound and fly along the rugged coastline of the Tasman Sea to Martins Bay, connected to civilisation only by the Hollyford Track. Landing at the beginning of your hike of the Hollyford Track, a lesser known walk compared to Milford and Routeburn, but just as glorious! The Hollyford Track is a hike you can do any time of the year, with no alpine sections, this track is rarely cut off by snow so you can hike it any time of the year - depending on the weather.
